I encourage everyone to travel no matter what their age because it’s an amazing thing to do- to discover the world, discover yourself and even make it into a career. This being said, your 20s is an especially great time to travel for a large number of reasons:
- You have no commitments
- You can make a lot of new friends
- You may have just graduated so have some fun before starting work
- Have some fun before College/ University
- Discover new place
- Discover the world is tiny
- Learn what career path you want to take
- Learn about yourself
- Discover what you truly want
- Meet your soulmate
- Live in hostels
- Party all night
- Make your own plans
- Travel with friends
- Make lifelong friends
- Make friends in different countries
- Make mistakes
- Take risks
- Spend too much money
- Break out of your bubble
- Break away from society
- For the stories no one will believe
- Learn what a small place you occupy in the world
- Discover new jobs/career paths
- Run away from someone or something
- Buy a one way ticket
- Travel for a year if you want
- Care-free
- Education is behind you
- Learn new skills
- Build resume
- HAVE FUN!!
Even if only one of these reasons inspires you to go travelling, you should do it!

It’s certainly a great time to travel!
You learn so much from travelling as well. It really makes you grow up if you do it solo and you learn so much about the world and even from yourself.

Thank you for your comment, travelling defiantly teaches you so much about the world and yourself. Such a good way to learn

I agree even though now in fifties, this is inspiring to perhaps make my own list for my age group. Happy travels.
